YasPyr#

Note

This page is under development.

YasPyr asks the practical question: assuming the matheology has been sorted out, what do we actually do with it?

The matheology presented on this site works toward getting the math right — axioms, models, theorems, adversarial testing. But knowing the math does not automatically tell you how to pray, what projects to build, or how to connect with other people who care about these questions in the real world.

That is what YasPyr.com is intended to address. If the Two Cent a Day Experiment proposed under Take Action is successful, then YasPyr.com will start to accumulate practical infrastructure for working with the matheology:

  • Prayers to consider — grounded in the formal foundations rather than in unexamined tradition.

  • Projects to work towards — concrete initiatives that implement what the models suggest.

  • Connections to make — a directory of people and groups engaged in this work in the real world.

This is a logical extension of the matheology idea. The matheology folder asks “what is true?” YasPyr asks “given what is true, what do we do?” The answer to the second question is not part of the matheology itself and only to a limited degree on the balospe.com page (see Take Action — geared more towards enabling YasPyr and ResearchCity to start scaling up than towards building them directly).
