AA: Retro Template Transform — Prompts and Tasks to Prepare#

Planning AA (AnyAims per RRv2) for the site-wide retroactive transform of all existing documents to conform to the three-template system (Front / Study / Raw) defined in AHA/document-beginnings.md.

Status: PREPARING. Hold off on execution until LLoL decides NOW-vs-LATER (see §3 below and the companion llog).

1. Prompts to Prepare#

Code

Prompt / Task

Status

Session

T0

Pilot selection + dry run. Pick 1 Study + 1 Raw file; transform manually; LLoL reviews; adjust templates if needed.

TO DO

Session 1

T1-llog

Prompt: Retroactive Site-Wide Template Transform (2026m04d20_11h39) (exists as draft)

DRAFT

Session 2

T1-prompt

Transform batch: all prompt files → Template C. Specialized rules: preserve verbatim prompt content; only update metadata block and footer.

TO WRITE

Session 3

T1-gg-dd-kb-review

Transform batch: GG / DD / KB / review files → Template C. Specialized rules: preserve decision logs intact; only update metadata.

TO WRITE

Session 4

T1-indexes

Transform batch: aaa.rst, b18-overview.rst, and similar indexes → Template C with flexible body.

TO WRITE

Session 5

T1-matheo-papers

Transform batch: Matheo series papers (b11–b18 and sub-papers) → Template B. Adds Supplementary (reproducibility) section; reorganizes Abstract/BS as bold not headings; adds end dropdowns.

TO WRITE

Session 6

T1-front-verify

Transform batch: Front pages → verify-only against AHA/page-template.md. No restructure.

TO WRITE

Session 7

T2-deposit-code

Prepare Zenodo deposition for SGIR model code and Evolvix compiler binaries. LLoL action needed (account creation, upload); Claude assists with metadata.

BLOCKED (LLoL)

Parallel to launch

T2-ORCID

LLoL obtains ORCID identifier.

BLOCKED (LLoL)

10 minutes of LLoL time

T3-bugc103-resolution

Resolve bugc103 (llog-VVN inconsistency + test Jubilee break). Informs T1-llog transform semantics.

BLOCKED (LLoL)

Before T1-llog

T4-rename-page-templates

Rename AHA/page-template.mdAHA/page-template_a_front-pages.md and AHA/page-template-to-instantiate-copy.rstAHA/page-template_a_front-pages-copy.rst. Update 20 files referencing them.

TO WRITE

Part of T1, late

T5-aaa-regenerate

After all other batches: regenerate aaa.rst entries to reflect new VVN strings for transformed files.

2. Dependency Order#

Required order (later steps cannot start until earlier complete):

  1. T3 (bugc103 resolution) — affects T1-llog semantics.

  2. T0 (pilot) — confirms template design before batch.

  3. T1-llog → T1-prompt → T1-gg-dd-kb-review → T1-indexes → T1-matheo → T1-front-verify.

  4. T4 (rename templates) can happen anywhere in T1 batch after pilot.

  5. T5 (aaa regenerate) after all T1 batches.

Parallel to T1 (no dependency): - T2-deposit-code (Zenodo) - T2-ORCID

3. NOW-vs-LATER Decision Support (for LLoL)#

See the companion llog LLog: POST.md RRv2 Update, Reproducibility AHA, Copy-Paste Files, Transform Prep §5 for pros and cons analysis of doing the transform NOW vs. waiting until after b18 launch.

Summary of recommendation: Pilot (T0) NOW to lock the templates and catch template design issues while they are easy to fix. Then PAUSE. Resume the T1 batch AFTER:

  • b18 papers are drafted and adversarially reviewed.

  • SGIR paper is launched (or launch-ready with Zenodo deposit).

  • bugc103 is resolved (informs T1-llog).

This gives LLoL the template confidence without the transform blocking launch.

4. Risk Register#

Risk

Severity

Mitigation

Broken cross-references during transform

High

make dev after each batch; fix new warnings before commit.

LLoL preferences evolve mid-transform

Medium

Each batch = separate commit; changes apply forward only.

Template spec drift during long transform

Medium

Pilot first; freeze spec at T0 completion; transform to frozen spec.

Transform disrupts b18 launch prep

High

Default: hold off until after launch (see §3).

bugc103 unresolved when T1-llog runs

High

Block T1-llog until T3 completes.

Loss of historical VVN strings in llogs

Medium

Preserve original VVN; append correction note (never overwrite).
