AA b14 — Resolve Stale Link Debt (Groups 3–6) at Jubilee Transition#

k4 s1 (Todo, LongTerm)
- Status:
deferred until post-papers jubilee transition

A Micro Laboratory Shows Need for a Micro Jubilee (bugc103), LLog — Link Reorganization Policy for HELL — 2026m04d15
Problem#
Directory restructurings (starting with the b15 intro/ vs math/
split on 2026m04d14) leave stale path references in frozen records
(llogs, executed prompts) and semi-living documents (planning docs,
scripts). The b15 restructuring alone produced 28+ stale references,
of which 14 (Groups 1–2) were fixed immediately. The remaining 14+
(Groups 3–6) are deferred.
This is one instance of a systemic pattern. As more papers are restructured (the cross-paper interconnection work planned after the Matheo papers are complete), the total stale-link count will grow. Each restructuring compounds the annotation burden from previous ones.
See bugc103 for the full analysis of why this constitutes a micro-scale Jubilee dynamic, and the design proposal for the Floor Model that resolves it.
Groups to Resolve#
Group 3 (5 refs): LLogs — append-only audit trails. Policy: do NOT edit the body. Add a dated path-mapping admonition at the top of each affected file (per the two-layer Knife Edge policy).
Group 4 (8 refs): Executed prompts — historical records. Policy: same as Group 3 (annotate, do not edit body). Exception: prompts that may be re-run should have their “Step 1: Read These Files” paths updated, with a dated note explaining the update.
Group 5 (5 refs): Planning/status documents. Policy: update paths directly (these are living documents).
Group 6 (1 ref): Python script. Policy: update the hardcoded path.
Note: The counts above are from the b15 restructuring only. By the time this AA is executed, additional restructurings will have added more stale references. A full project-wide link audit should be part of the jubilee transition procedure.
Timing#
Execute as part of the jubilee transition (see dd-proposal-mmv1, Section 4). Do NOT execute piecemeal before the papers are complete — further restructurings will create more stale links, and fixing them incrementally is churn.
