b32 prompt #5 — Buy-In page: surgical link/consistency tweaks (do no harm)#
dv_ClaOp47Max, 2026m05d28_13h54. Self-contained.First principle — do no harm
source/buy-in/index.rst carries a very long VVN audit trail and many
LLoL hand-edits. This pass is additive and surgical only: cross-links and
tiny consistency fixes. Propose every change as a before/after diff with
``file:line``; apply only the ones LLoL approves (or that are unambiguous
link insertions). Touch no guarded START/STOP block, no headings, no
section order, no argument structure. When unsure, leave it and flag it.
1. The task#
Bring the Buy-In page into alignment with the rest of the launch unit by adding the few links that are now missing, without disturbing the careful existing work.
2. Read first (inputs)#
source/buy-in/index.rst— the page itself (note its existing GoFundMe- URL:class: importantplaceholders — leave that mechanism intact; inserting the live URL is an LLoL action). The new #1 direct-ask blog (prompt #1’s output) — to link it.
source/action/newsletter/index.rst— the Sojourners subscription page (it is being revised; link it as the “stay-with-it” rail).b25 — adversarial Buy-In review — so you know the page’s known sensitivities and don’t reopen settled calls.
3. The specific additions (propose, then apply approved)#
The All-Stadia / direct route. Near the “Maximal” cap discussion or the “Institutions, Granters, and other Influencers” section, add a short pointer for the reader who can give a lot: the All-Stadia Backer route and the
FF+1600rail, explained in the new direct-ask blog post — still inside the same cap, with the “I will not influence” clause. (Reinforces, does not contradict, “the cap is the feature.”)The Newsletter / Sojourners rail. Add the newsletter to the “See also” / related links as the way to stay with the work without (or alongside) backing — the Sojourner posture.
Give-away consistency check (light). The 50%-give-away section already says funds go to causes “currently most in need to avert some emergency” — that is the urgent-need criterion the blog/GoFundMe now use. Confirm the wording is consistent across the three; if a one-word tweak helps, propose it — do not rewrite the section.
Blog cross-links. Ensure the three recent posts (dung-beetle already linked; auction; Eid) are reachable from the “See also” block, gated on their being published.
4. Guardrails#
Additive only. No restructuring, no voice rewrites, no new figures.
Preserve the GoFundMe-URL placeholder mechanism exactly.
