Purpose: Working document for accumulating acronym definitions across e7Day development. NOT part of the official site glossary. Multiple conflicting definitions are expected and recorded — they will be harmonized later.
Convention: Each acronym may have multiple rows (one per source year/context). VVN tracks who proposed it (iv_ = human, dv_ = machine).

Notes:
SON has two strong definitions for different contexts. StrategyOrganizationNegotiator = management/navigator reading. SemanticsOrganizingNothing = foundational logic reading. The latter motivates the rename of m4 from PROGRESS to LOGIC.
STARS is a recursive acronym (cf. GNU = GNU’s Not Unix). The recursion is the point: meta-monitoring requires monitoring.
PERFECT/PERFIDE are exceptionally well-crafted; both carry semantic double meanings (PERFECT = the ideal; PERFIDE = perfidious/treacherous).
DAY/NIGHT may map differently in non-compiler contexts — multiple definitions expected.
User notes some acronym defs differ across years. This DICT records all known variants with VVN tracking.
