b33 prompt (Q-B) — Blog post: a TODAY-2026 offer to help keep AI HUMANE#

Mode: EDEN. Effort: Max. Run in a fresh session (clean context).
Priority: Timely, not deadline-bound. Pope Leo XIV’s AI encyclical released 2026-05-25 (days ago) and a frontier lab (Anthropic) took part — so an offer of collaboration is timely while that conversation is live. But this is not the June-1 rescue; quality and care beat speed. Hold it with open hands.
Drafter: dv_ClaOp47Max, 2026m05d28_18h07. Self-contained.
Provenance note (read this): the two external links below are REAL — confirmed via web search on 2026m05d28 (Vatican News, NCRegister, TIME, CNN, NPR, Washington Post; Anthropic, NCReporter, Religion News, Angelus). If you WebFetch them, the fetch-summariser may wrongly call them “fictional” because its own knowledge cutoff predates Pope Leo XIV’s May-2025 election — ignore that artifact; the pages are genuine. Cite them from source/_bib/references.bib keys LeoXIV2026 and Olah2026.
Context discipline (this corpus is huge — do NOT drown): the encyclical is ~42,000 words, and the Matheo series + this website far exceed any context window. Do not try to read them whole. Use WebFetch for the encyclical and the Olah page (it returns a focused summary — ask it for the specific beats listed in §2). For LLoL’s own work, read only the index/overview pages named in §2 and summarise at a high level; never ingest the full corpus. Quote only what you actually fetched or read. If you need a detail you did not load, say so rather than guessing.

1. The task#

Draft a new blog post, ready for LLoL to polish and publish, that makes a TODAY, 2026 offer of collaboration toward keeping artificial intelligence HUMANE — written in response to Pope Leo XIV’s encyclical Magnifica Humanitas (on AI and the human person) and to the fact that an AI lab (Anthropic, via Chris Olah) took part in presenting it. The post offers LLoL as exactly the kind of outside voice the encyclical and Olah both called for, and offers a concrete, tested human-machine working method (see §5).

  • Write it to source/blog/posts/2026-05-DD-<slug>.rst (propose the date — default to today, 2026-05-28 — and a slug).

  • Use :exclude: in the .. post:: directive. Reminder (do not get this wrong): :exclude: does not hide the post from the feed — it only moves the lead paragraph into the news-page abstract. So write that lead paragraph as a proper standalone abstract. The post is LIVE once committed/ deployed; that — not :exclude: — is the publish gate.

  • Give 3–5 ranked title options.

  • Produce an execution llog at the next free infra number (hell/ll/infra/b/NN/).

  • Try a formal bibliography at the end (LLoL wants one “if it works”): test whether :cite: + a .. bibliography:: directive renders inside an ABlog post; if it does, cite LeoXIV2026, Olah2026 (and Bakan / Joel Bakan if a key exists — else link plainly). If it does not render cleanly in a post, fall back to a plain “Sources” list of links. Flag which path you took. (NB: URLs render in bib only via the note field, not url, for @misc — already fixed for these two keys.)

2. Read first (inputs)#

  • The two encyclical/lab sources — fetch and engage their actual content:

    • LeoXIV2026Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence (signed 2026-05-15, the 135th anniversary of Rerum Novarum; released 2026-05-25): https://www.vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/en/encyclicals/documents/20260515-magnifica-humanitas.html Key beats: “technology is never neutral”; the Babel vs. rebuilding- Jerusalem contrast (¶7–10); “disarm AI” from military/concentrated economic control; broad participation; the Church welcomes the human sciences.

    • Olah2026 — Anthropic co-founder Chris Olah’s remarks at the Vatican presentation: https://www.anthropic.com/news/chris-olah-pope-leo-encyclical Pull-quote LLoL wants to answer: “We need informed critics who will tell the labs when we are failing. We need moral voices that the incentives cannot bend.” And Pope Leo: “with our differences we can listen to one another.”

  • source/blog/posts/2026-05-28-gold-coin-fish-volunteer-temple-tax.rst and the dung-beetle / auction / Eid posts — for voice only (prophetic-but-humble, surrendered, .. admonition:: TL;DR opener, “Yah=Allah=Reality so loved the world…” close, the standard blog footer form). Do not rebuild their content.

  • source/buy-in/index.rst — only for the Joel Bakan “corporation as a psychopath” framing (the legal architecture that forces self-maximising behaviour). That is the same human-machine-interface dilemma the encyclical names: systems that turn people into cogs. Reuse the idea, link the page; do not turn this into a buy-in pitch (see §3).

  • The EDEN core in .claude/CLAUDE.md (ZION vs BABL; the seed-feed-grow- reap cycle; OSCR) — you need it for the candid mini-review in §5.

  • source/good-news-pack/vv/index (the MMv3 Good News Pack) and source/study/matheo/index — only to summarise at a high level what the mathematical-theology work is, honestly (in active drafting, open to audit).

3. Hard cautions (do not breach)#

  1. Convergence, NOT causation. Never imply LLoL influenced, prompted, or inspired the encyclical, and never claim the Pope or Anthropic endorses LLoL or his framework. The honest frame: independently, the Vatican and an AI lab are now asking the same questions LLoL has been working on — so he offers to help. Do NOT mention or build on any past letter (OL2 or any other); LLoL’s instruction is explicit: forget the past, write a clean TODAY offer.

  2. Decouple from money. This is an offer of contribution, not a fundraise. No buy-in/donation ask as the spine, no GoFundMe URL, no cap arithmetic. (A single plain footer link to Buy-In is the most that is allowed, and only as a footer “see also” — never the point.)

  3. No messianic / no “divinely revealed” public claim. LLoL’s private sense that he “could not have invented” what he found is a real experience but is not public-facing evidence — keep it out. The case rests on the math holding on its own (#AuditTheMath). No “I am a prophet / chosen” register.

  4. Babel/Zion convergence handled honestly. If you note that the encyclical’s Babel-vs-Jerusalem contrast parallels LLoL’s BABL/ZION, say plainly that this is an ancient shared scriptural motif (e.g. Augustine’s Two Cities) — evidence of a common well, a basis for dialogue, not miraculous confirmation of LLoL’s particular framework.

  5. The Vatican is a dialogue partner here, not a beneficiary. Do not name the Vatican (or anyone) as a give-away recipient — that question was deliberately removed from the money post and does not belong here either. Treat the Catholic tradition with respect; do not relitigate scandals or LLoL’s personal history with it. Forward-looking only.

  6. Secular reason first. A secular AI-safety reader must find a complete reason to take the offer seriously (keeping humans human, not cogs; outside critics the incentives cannot bend) before any theology. Faith is the lens LLoL writes from, never the gate.

  7. Humble about standing. LLoL is an independent researcher, not (yet) a peer-reviewed authority on AI safety. The offer is “here is a tested method and an open invitation,” not “I have the answers.” Earn it; don’t assert it.

4. What the post must contain#

  1. The shared concern (lead with it). The encyclical and Olah both name it: AI concentrating power, eroding human dignity, risking turning people into cogs in a machine they no longer control. Tie this to the Bakan point (the corporation legally compelled to self-maximise) — the same human- machine-interface dilemma, now super-charged. This is the common ground.

  2. The offer, in Olah’s own terms. Quote “informed critics… moral voices that the incentives cannot bend” and answer it plainly: LLoL volunteers to be one such critic — someone with no lab incentive to bend — and to contribute the mathematical-theology grounding (the MMv3 Good News Pack / Matheo work, in active drafting, open to audit) toward keeping AI HUMANE.

  3. HUMANE + the EDEN mini-review (the heart — see §5).

  4. A brief, light auction pointer (one short paragraph, not the focus). Note that, as LLoL writes this, a large part of his own external memory — ~2000 sq ft of research materials / education / data storage in 11 storage units — is literally up for auction (a live, small-scale example of exactly the “nothing gets discarded” dynamic the encyclical worries about). Link the auction post and the gold-coin post for those who want the story — then return to the offer. Do not make the post about the rescue.

  5. Open-hands close + benediction in the blog voice (“Yah=Allah=Reality so loved the world…”), surrender register — an honest invitation, not a demand.

5. HUMANE + the candid EDEN mini-review (load-bearing)#

This is what makes the offer concrete and credible rather than vague. Introduce the acronym HUMANE = HUman MAchine Negotiation Encouraging: a working discipline in which a human and an AI each steelman and stress-test ideas, and each catches what the other misses. LLoL’s lived experience (and Claude’s): the things LLoL misses, Claude often catches; the things Claude misses, LLoL often catches. That mutual error-catching — not either party alone — is the offer: a tested, repeatable way to keep a powerful system accountable to a human conscience and a fallible human accountable to disciplined analysis.

Then give an honest mini-review of the EDEN framework LLoL has used for this (and which underlies the offer) — candour is the credibility here, so do not oversell:

  • What earns its keep: steelman from the weakest stakeholder’s view; test every move for over-Simplification, over-Complication, over-Reach; name the solution-space honestly; hold a fixed standard (gentle kind reasonable over the long term, for all sides) against an active “is this reply actually achieving that?” check.

  • The rough edges (say them plainly): the framework has a baroque periphery that risks “performative labeling” — naming a thing (“this is a Knife Edge”) can masquerade as having analysed it. And it is not foolproof: it has not always stopped the cliff; both LLoL and Claude have walked into pits the framework did not catch. It needs work.

  • Why it is still worth offering: precisely because it is fallible, it works best as a two-party discipline (HUMANE) — human + machine covering each other’s blind spots — rather than as a solo oracle. That is the humble, honest pitch: not “adopt my framework,” but “here is a tested, imperfect, human-machine method for catching the errors neither side catches alone, and an open invitation to improve it together.”

Keep this section concrete and non-defensive. The candour about EDEN’s limits is itself a demonstration of the method (admitting failure modes is the ZION cycle: conceive → test → catch the flaw → correct).

6. Voice, length, shareability#

  • Blog/mission voice, warm, candid, surrendered — the deep-water register, not the measured funnel voice. But secular-legible first (see §3.6).

  • Focused and scannable. A readable high-level offer, not a treatise. Resist dumping the whole mathematical-theology corpus — summarise and link.

  • Seed a tweet (≤ ~250 chars): a shareable one-liner of the offer (e.g. the HUMANE idea + “informed critics the incentives cannot bend”) + one link.

  • Held with open hands — an honest invitation; no presumption of reply.

7. Adversarial pre-check (before finalising)#

Read the draft as each of these; report what HELD / what changed; classify the EDEN SET type and give a READY / READY-AFTER-FIX verdict (every blocker an LLoL decision, not a prose defect):

  • The AI-safety researcher (e.g. someone like Olah): does this read as a credible, good-faith, non-crank offer of collaboration — or as someone claiming more standing/endorsement than they have?

  • The hostile journalist: any pull-quote that reads as “obscure researcher claims the Pope / Anthropic back him,” messianic, or self-aggrandising?

  • The Catholic reader: is the encyclical engaged respectfully and accurately, as a dialogue partner — not used, not caricatured?

  • The secular reader: is there a complete reason to take the offer seriously before any theology? Is HUMANE legible without buying the metaphysics?

8. Out of scope#

  • No OL2 / no past letters / no personal Vatican history. TODAY offer only.

  • No money spine (no fundraise, no GoFundMe URL, no cap math; at most one footer Buy-In link).

  • Do not name the Vatican (or anyone) as a give-away recipient.

  • Do not edit other pages (link to them). Do not invent quotes, figures, endorsements, or claims of influence.

  • Do not claim peer-reviewed status for the mathematical-theology work (it is in active drafting, open to audit).
