AA — AnyAims (Tasks and Action Items)#

Tasks, action items, and priorities for HELL’s adversarial review system. Each aim is numbered using the lettered-numbering system and carries AIMS coordinates (Impact k0–k9, Seasoning s0–s9).

Terminology — HELL AA and POST AA

The name tells you the folder. That is the whole mnemonic.

  • HELL AA — source/matheology/hell/aa/. HELL’s own adversarial-review system. This series.

  • POST AA — source/_post/aa/ (the POST System folder). Site-wide, and anything outside HELL.

  • paper AA — beside the paper it plans, e.g. hell/mm/b/16/aa-b16-finalizing.rst. Named, not numbered.

So “HELL AA b16” is in hell/aa/b/16/ and “POST AA b19” is in _post/aa/b/19/.

Warning

Two independently numbered AA series exist. Always qualify which one you mean.

  • This series (HELL AA) — source/matheology/hell/aa/b/NN/ — b10–b15 used. Scope: HELL’s own adversarial-review system (restructuring, formatting walkthroughs, link debt, date-format cleanup).

  • The project registry (AA) — source/_post/aa/b/NN/ — b11–b18 used. Scope: project-wide and paper-related tasks. Documented in CLAUDE.md.

The numbers collide: AA b11–b15 name different tasks in each series. A bare “AA b14” is therefore ambiguous — it is either Resolve Stale Link Debt (here) or Adversarial review of the Zenodo mirror page (registry). Write HELL AA b14 for this series until LLoL decides whether to merge or renumber them.

Paper-scoped AA files live beside the paper they plan (e.g. hell/mm/b/16/aa-b16-finalizing.rst), not in either series.

Standing AA files elsewhere inside HELL#

Important

Linking rule (LLoL, 2026m08d04): every standing AA file must be reachable from an AA index. An AA file that lives beside the thing it plans is only findable if an index points at it. When you create one inside HELL, add a row here and to the POST AA registry, which is the site-wide entry point.

Checked mechanically, not left to memory: make check-paths (Check D) fails if a standing AA file is not linked from an index. See AHA/linting.md.

AA file

Scope

b16 finalizing — hell/mm/b/16/aa-b16-finalizing.rst

the b16 RiskyMAD paper. The single list of record for everything still to do on b16.

Note

hell/aaa/ is AAA — AnyAllArrival, a different register (in-transit arrivals, not tasks). It is not listed here and is not subject to the linking rule. Dated aa-* session-prompt files inside hell/ll/ are execution prompts belonging to their llog, not standing lists, and are likewise excluded.
