Privacy Policy#
Balospe.com is a static website. It does not use cookies for tracking, does not run analytics scripts, does not serve advertisements, and does not require user accounts. This section explains what data is and is not collected.
Data we do NOT collect#
No analytics. This site does not use Google Analytics, Matomo, or any other analytics service.
No tracking cookies. This site does not set cookies for tracking visitors across pages or sessions.
No user accounts. There is no login, registration, or profile system.
No forms. There are no contact forms, comment systems, or other input mechanisms on this site.
Data processed by our hosting provider#
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit any page, Cloudflare may process:
Your IP address (for routing and security)
Your browser’s user-agent string
The pages you request
Timestamps of your visits
Cloudflare processes this data as a data processor on behalf of the site
operator. Cloudflare may set minimal technical cookies (such as
__cf_bm) strictly for bot protection and security purposes. These are not
used for tracking or advertising.
For details on Cloudflare’s data processing, see: Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
The legal basis for this processing under GDPR is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, the interest in making the website accessible and protecting it from abuse. No data is sold to third parties.
FeedbackFlow emails#
When you click a FeedbackFlow (FF) mailto link and send an email, you are using your own email client and email provider. The email is sent to an address at balospe.com.
The site itself does not collect or store any data when you click a mailto link. The link simply opens your email client.
If you send the email, the email is received and stored in an email inbox operated by LLoL.
Emails may contain whatever personal data you choose to include (your email address, name, and message content).
FeedbackFlow emails are treated as public domain submissions under the Jonah License unless explicitly stated otherwise by the sender. Do not include private information you do not wish to be made public.
Replying
PUBLICIZEconfirms your submission as public domain. This does not guarantee publication. LLoL is one person and may be unable to read, process, or act on any given submission regardless of its importance. Submissions may be lost or overlooked during high-volume periods. No promise of publication, response, or action is made or implied. If you wish to have a previously sent FeedbackFlow email deleted or retracted, reply to the same email thread with
FORGETat the beginning of the subject line (keep the rest of the subject unchanged). This ensures your request is matched to the correct submission automatically. For general data rights requests unrelated to a specific FF submission, contact webmaster@balospe.com.
External links#
This site contains links to external websites (e.g., GoFundMe, GitHub, BibleHub, academic publishers). When you follow such a link, you leave Balospe.com and are subject to the privacy policy of the destination site. Balospe.com has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content or data practices of external sites.
Your rights under GDPR#
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding any personal data that may have been processed:
Right of access — you may request information about what data, if any, is held about you.
Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your data.
Right to restrict processing — you may request that processing be limited.
Right to data portability — you may request a copy of your data in a structured format.
Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights regarding a specific FeedbackFlow submission,
reply to the same email thread with FORGET at the beginning of the
subject line. For general data rights requests, contact webmaster@balospe.com.
Since this site processes essentially no personal data beyond what Cloudflare handles for hosting, and the only direct data relationship arises from voluntarily sent FeedbackFlow emails, most of these rights can be exercised simply by requesting deletion of any emails you have sent.
