"Maximize revenue" (MOL) by "dumbing it down" (BA). CrowdJustice: the crowd decides whether the innovation lives or dies. The generic version has commoditized; margins are thin; everyone is tired. Two paths remain: - **Grind:** Accept commoditization. The innovation becomes generic, margins shrink to zero, and the cycle ends in irrelevance. - **Jubilee:** Reset. Use the accumulated insight to seed a new cycle of genuine innovation. The innovation dies in its current form but is reborn in a higher form --- the next EPH. **The BABL temptation:** Full :ref:`BABL ` --- all three simultaneously. :ref:`BA ` says "just keep grinding." :ref:`ASH ` says "it's too complicated to restart." :ref:`MOL ` says "we've invested too much to let go."
