0. Headline
===========

A complete, copy-paste-ready GoFundMe draft is in §2 below (title options,
cover hook, story body, beneficiary blurb), with the cap engaged in §3, the
platform recommendation in §4, the anti-overclaim check in §5, the five-persona
adversarial pre-check in §6, and the EDEN verdict in §7.

**Central design tension found (and the path through it).** The page must drive
people to a GoFundMe that exists to stop a **June-1 auction**, *yet* it must
stay **mission-first**. Leading with "help me pay my storage bill" would (a)
read as a pity-plea (hostile-journalist exposure, b25 §3.1/§15), (b) collapse a
civilization-scale mission into one person's crisis --- losing the secular
rationalist the prompt forbids losing (§3.1) --- and (c) set a goal thermometer
that, once hit, leaves no mission. Burying the real dated urgency would
under-serve a genuine deadline. The one narrow path: **lead mission-first with
the falsifiable math + the ~$8 + "audit the math," and present the auction as
the strongest exhibit in the integrity stack (skin-in-the-game + won't-buy-back),
not as the ask itself.** The draft is built on that path.

**Sharpest operational flag (BABL Danger candidate --- see §4.4).** The whole
page funnels to GoFundMe to rescue a **Monday June-1** auction, but GoFundMe
payouts typically need identity setup + bank transfer that take **several
business days**. Money raised may therefore **not reach LLoL in time to actually
pay the storage company by June 1.** A page that promises a rescue it cannot
mechanically deliver inside the window is the "form looks right, substance has
drifted" failure HUMANE warns against. The auction post itself already half-sees
this ("if you have concerns that GoFundMe may not release your funds in time ...
contact me directly"). This needs a decision **before** launch (§4.4).

**Two figures only LLoL can set (so the draft leaves them as marked
placeholders, never invents them):** (i) the goal amount, which depends on the
real storage-debt figure; and (ii) whether the **50% give-away applies to the
launch / debt-payoff funds** (gross vs net) --- which materially changes the
goal and *must* be stated on the page either way to stay honest (§2.3).

----

1. EDEN framing of the task
===========================

**SET = Knife Edge KE-1 (the launchable draft).** One narrow path satisfies all
five §3 audiences at once, and it *is* identifiable: mission-first framing +
ruthless mobile scannability + all depth pushed behind balospe.com links +
promise-honesty (link the page that delivers, hedge the drafts) + the
integrity stack placed early + eschatology / power-of-attorney /
nuclear-power-negotiation / grandiosity kept **entirely off** the GoFundMe face.
Step off that path in any of three ways and the page BREACHes:

- let the platform pull it toward pure emotional immediacy ("save my life's
  work") --- BREACH for the rationalist and the journalist;
- front-load theology or the POAATAD power-of-attorney list --- BREACH for the
  secular funder (loses them before the reason to give) and hands the
  journalist a pull-quote;
- send the rigorous reader to a page that under-delivers (``crisis/science``) ---
  BREACH for the mathematician (b25 §3.6 PROMISE-BROKEN).

**SET = Grey Edge GE-1 (does it convert at all?).** Whether a *measured,
capped, give-half-away, mathematical-theology* ask actually converts on a
platform engineered for the opposite **cannot be told from inside** --- it MAY
be a ZION path (a trusted brand + a real dated goal + a ~$8 impulse ask is a
genuine fit) or MAY be premature (GoFundMe's discovery will not surface this;
all traffic must be driven externally). This mirrors b25's GE-1 exactly and is
only resolved by testing with real traffic post-launch (§4, §7).

**BABL self-test of the task itself (OSCR, death-trifecta first).**

- *over-Simplify:* the risk is the page reducing the mission to "fund my
  storage units." Guarded by mission-first framing + depth-behind-links.
- *over-Complicate:* the risk is cramming POAATAD + 1600 stadia + the cap chain
  + RiskyMAD + the give-away + the auction + 5 audiences onto one mobile screen,
  so nobody acts. Guarded by doing **one** job (get the buy-in) and routing
  everything else out to balospe.com.
- *over-Reach:* the risk is promising what the site does not yet deliver, and
  putting "negotiate with nuclear powers" on a public funding face. Guarded by
  §5 promise-discipline and by keeping the whole POAATAD list off the page.

The draft holds *stable extensible life-friendly* (ZION) **only while that
discipline holds** --- which is why this is a Knife Edge, not a Green Meadow.

2. The deliverables (copy-paste ready)
======================================

.. admonition:: How to use these blocks
   :class: note

   GoFundMe's story editor is basic rich text (bold, bullets, links --- applied
   with its toolbar, not Markdown). In the blocks below, ``**bold**`` marks text
   to bold, ``[link: ...]`` marks where to attach a hyperlink to the preceding
   anchor words, and a ``———`` line marks an optional section break (can be left
   as a blank line or made a small sub-heading). Paste the plain text, then apply
   formatting. **Do not** paste the ``**`` / ``[link:]`` markers literally.

2.1 Title options (ranked)
--------------------------

GoFundMe titles are best kept short, concrete, and price-free (a price in the
title can read cheap; the ~$8 lands harder in the body). Ranked best-first:

#. **#AuditTheMath: Independent Review of How to Avert Accidental Nuclear
   Winter** --- leads with the campaign's own posture-brand, names the stake
   plainly, no grandiosity, no price. *(Recommended.)*
#. **Audit the Math --- Sustaining the Review That Could Help Avert Nuclear
   Winter** --- verb-first and action-oriented; softer on the hashtag for
   readers who find ``#`` gimmicky.
#. **#AuditTheMath: Funding Independent Review of a Nuclear-Winter Escape
   Path** --- mission-framed; "escape path" echoes SD1 but is mildly jargon-y.
#. **Don't Trust Me --- Audit the Math (on Averting Accidental Nuclear
   Winter)** --- the posture *as* the title; memorable, a touch cute for a
   campaign title.
#. **#AuditTheMath: ~$8 to Sustain Review on Averting Nuclear Winter** ---
   puts the ~$8 up front for the impulse donor; ranked last only because a
   number in the title can cheapen a civilization-scale ask.

2.2 Cover line / one-sentence hook (for shares + the social card)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Keep under ~135 characters so it isn't truncated in a shared card. Best-first:

#. ``~$8 a year to sustain independent review of the math behind averting accidental nuclear winter. Don't trust me --- audit it.``
#. ``Nuclear roulette is unwinnable --- a public model says so. ~$8 sustains the independent review that tests the way out.``
#. ``About 2 cents a day to fund the audit of a proposed escape path from accidental nuclear winter. Capped so no one can buy it.``

2.3 Goal amount + justification
-------------------------------

**This is an LLoL decision (b23 §6.3 item 1), and it turns on two numbers I do
not have and must not invent (b28 §5/§8).** What I *can* do is recommend a
structure and supply the real, documented figures around it.

**Recommended structure: a single, round, mission-framed launch goal --- "Stage
0" --- not a "pay-my-bill" number.** Set the goal so it (a) is at least the
amount LLoL must actually *net* to pay the storage debt and clear immediate
Stage-0 costs, and (b) reads as a mission milestone. Fold the auction into the
story as the **first and most urgent claim** on those funds (the June-1
milestone), rather than making the debt the headline. Once met, post an update
and raise the goal to the next milestone --- this keeps the thermometer alive
instead of "complete" the moment the bill is paid.

**The two LLoL-only inputs that set the number:**

#. **The actual storage-debt payoff** (LLoL is phoning the company for the exact
   figure per b25 §11). The goal must be ``>=`` this, grossed up if the give-away
   applies (next point), or the thermometer can read 100% while the auction is
   still un-stoppable.
#. **Does the 50% give-away apply to launch / debt-payoff funds?** If yes, LLoL
   must raise ``~2x`` the debt to net enough to pay it --- a real, non-obvious
   interaction. Whatever the answer, **the page must say it plainly** ("the 50%
   give-away begins once the immediate survival threshold is met" *or* "applies
   to every contribution including these"), or a hostile reader fairly asks "are
   you giving away half the money I gave to save the research?"

**Documented figures available to anchor the justification** (from the Buy-In
scaling table, which already halves for the give-away as ``~$8/2``):

.. list-table::
   :header-rows: 1
   :widths: 26 20 54

   * - Raised (gross)
     - Available (net, after 50%)
     - What it sustains (per Buy-In)
   * - ~$80,000 (≈10,000 × ~$8)
     - ~$40,000
     - Tier 1: early operating costs (hosting, domains, archival, storage) +
       keep the founder in the race
   * - ~$800,000 (≈100,000 × ~$8)
     - ~$400,000
     - ~4 full-time researcher-years at ~$100,000 all-inclusive

**Caution on the table (a mathematician will check this --- b25 §3.2 HELD the
arithmetic, so keep it exact):** a GoFundMe goal is money **raised (gross)**.
The Buy-In table's headline figures (``~$40,000`` ...) are **available (net,
after the give-away)**. So "~$40,000 available" needs **~$80,000 raised**. Do
*not* set a $40,000 goal and describe it as the Tier-1 "available" figure --- that
silently double-counts the give-away. State the goal in gross terms and describe
what it nets.

**One-paragraph justification for the page** (fill the bracketed number; keep
whichever give-away clause is true):

.. code-block:: text

   This first goal is Stage 0: clearing the immediate debt that has put the
   research materials at auction, covering early operating costs (hosting,
   domains, archival, secure storage), and keeping the work alive long enough
   to be reviewed. At the ~$8 baseline, that is roughly [N] people choosing to
   be represented. Half of every contribution is given away to other worthy
   causes [— beginning once the immediate survival threshold is met], so the
   goal is set in gross terms; what it nets for the work is about half. The
   full scaling math — what 100,000 or a million participants would sustain —
   is on the Buy-In page.

2.4 Story body (the main copy-paste block)
------------------------------------------

~760 words. Mobile-first: the stakes + the ~$8 ask + "audit the math" all land
in the first three short paragraphs (before GoFundMe's mobile "read more" fold).

.. code-block:: text

   **Nuclear roulette is unwinnable. There is a way out — and you can check
   the math yourself.**

   A model calibrated to real Cold-War near-miss data puts the median wait to
   an accidental nuclear winter at about **19 years** — roughly a **1-in-40
   chance every single year**. Almost no one's full-time job is to take that
   seriously and do something about it. This campaign exists to change that.

   **The ask is small on purpose: about ~$8 — 2 cents a day, for a year** — to
   sustain independent review of the math behind a proposed way out. That ~$8
   is not a bet that I have the answers. It is a vote of trust *for the work to
   be audited.* So please: don't trust me. **Audit the math.**
   [link: see the model (SD1)]

   ———

   **What your ~$8 actually does**

   It sustains independent researchers who commit, under fiduciary
   responsibility, to fairly review this work on everyone's behalf — and it
   keeps me, the person who spent 7+ years building it, in the race long enough
   to finish presenting it for that review. (I'm Laurence Loewe, a research
   scientist; more about me and the work is linked below.)

   You are not buying answers. You are funding the review that tests whether
   the answers hold. If the math fails that test, that is a result worth having
   too — a confirmed flaw is worth more to me than a thousand polite
   agreements, and refutations are genuinely welcome.

   ———

   **Why only ~$8 — and why you literally cannot give a fortune here**

   Most fundraisers want you to give as much as possible. This one is the
   opposite, by design. There is a hard per-person cap, and the reason is
   simple: **so that no billionaire, no foundation, and no government can buy
   this campaign.** Work meant to speak honestly for *all* sides cannot be owned
   by the deepest pocket in the room. **The cap is the feature, not a bug.**

   GoFundMe cannot enforce that cap for me, so I am asking you to keep to it
   yourself. And if ~$8 is nothing to you and you would like to do more, the
   most valuable things you can give are not money:

   • **Sponsor people who can't give.** Today only about 1 in 8 people
     worldwide even has a credit card; the other 7 are shut out of funding a
     solution that is arguably in their own interest. You may cover the buy-in
     of others who currently cannot.
   • **Audit the math** yourself, or send it to one expert whose disagreement
     would carry weight.
   • **Tell one person who would care.** That is often worth more than the money.

   And **half of everything raised is given away** — 50% goes to other worthy
   causes (starting with investigative journalists pushed out of their work).
   This is not built to make one organization important.

   ———

   **Is this "for me"? Honestly, yes — and for everyone, in the same breath.**

   Averting accidental nuclear winter is the one place where not wanting to die
   myself and not wanting anyone to die are the same wish. I'm not pretending to
   be selfless; our interests line up here — and the cap and the 50% give-away
   are there to keep me honest about it. (For the record: contributions come to
   me, an individual researcher, because there's no nonprofit yet — building the
   right one is part of the work.)

   ———

   **Why you can trust this — and why I am not asking you to**

   I would rather show you than tell you:

   • **It is all auditable.** The complete case is public. Bring your most
     skeptical expert. [link: balospe.com]
   • **I have skin in the game.** I invested everything I had and maxed out
     every credit I could. As I write this, my life's research — about 2,000
     square feet of it, including hard-to-find nuclear-fallout research I
     inherited from the geneticist James F. Crow — sits at a live public
     auction. You can see it for yourself. [link: the live auction]
   • **I will not game it.** The cheapest way out would be to quietly bid on my
     own units at a knock-down price. I will not — that would cheat a storage
     company that has been remarkably gracious. The honest path is to raise what
     I owe, pay it, and ask them to call off the auction.

   The first auction's deadline is **Monday, June 1, 2026.** The first thing
   your buy-in does is help keep this irreplaceable seed material from being
   scattered before then. But the materials are only the beginning — the point
   is the work they feed.

   ———

   **Who this is for**

   **If you came for the nuclear-winter math:** you are in the right place.
   Everything above stands on its own — no belief required. Science is the
   truth-obsessed tradition, and it is welcome at this table as a full equal.

   **If you come from a faith tradition:** there is a deeper vision here too — a
   case that reads a concrete survival logic out of older texts, and argues for
   a periodic, well-organized renewal (a Jubilee-based reset) for a whole
   civilization. It is offered as a lens, never as a gate. There is a personal
   reflection on it in a blog post [link: "Two Sons, Two Altars"] — follow it if
   it speaks to you, skip it if it does not. The ~$8 ask is exactly the same
   either way.

   ———

   **The bigger picture, in one paragraph**

   The longer-term goal is to scale up a "ResearchCity" — independent research
   aimed squarely at the existential problems that fall through the cracks of
   every existing institution precisely because they are no one's job. Think of
   it as a *Ministry of Nothing*: the catch-all for everything the powerful wave
   away as "that's nothing" — right up until it isn't. The full scaling math is
   on the Buy-In page. [link: balospe.com/buy-in]

   ———

   **Where the money goes (and an honest caution)**

   This GoFundMe is the **start-up instrument** — quick, trusted, well-suited to
   a one-click ~$8. It is *not* the permanent home. Within roughly 30–60 days I
   will add channels that fit a capped, radically transparent, give-half-away
   model far better — most importantly a public, line-by-line ledger so anyone
   can watch the 50% give-away actually happen, plus a way to support the
   ongoing audit over time.

   The honest caution: this is research funding for an **unproven framework that
   is still in active drafting.** There is no guaranteed outcome. Your ~$8
   supports the *work of review*, not a finished product. I think that work is
   worth about 2 cents a day — but I'd genuinely rather you didn't give unless
   you're convinced it is. You get to decide.

   ———

   **Where this is going — and why this goal is only the first rung.**

   Let me be honest about both the size of the dream and the smallness of this
   first step. This is **Stage 0: the seed.** From here the plan is to stand up
   an independent, fully transparent funding platform, then scale a
   "ResearchCity" in 7-8 stages — beginning with a founding team of about 150
   people [link: the plan] and growing toward work aimed squarely at the
   existential threats no one else is paid to watch. The full arithmetic — what
   10,000, a million, even a billion people each giving ~$8 would sustain — is
   laid out in the open [link: the scaling math, on the Buy-In page]. I'm not
   asking you to fund the whole forest; I'm asking you to help plant the seed,
   where you can audit every step. This is deliberately a *starting* goal — I'll
   raise it in stages as we grow, and move to platforms better suited to
   transparency and tax-deductible giving as soon as we can stand them up.

   ———

   **How to buy in**

   1. Decide what you can happily spare. About ~$8 is the suggestion; less is
      genuinely welcome if money is tight; please keep to the cap if you would
      give more.
   2. Contribute below.
   3. Tell one person who might care.

   Then, whether you have ten minutes or a lifetime of expertise: **audit the
   math. Don't trust me — check it.**

2.5 Beneficiary / "what exists today" blurb (answers the foundation-officer's 3 questions)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

b25 §3.4 found the three hardest funder questions **unanswered on-page** (who
legally receives the money + tax status; the 50%-give-away mechanism; what
governance prevents a one-person discretionary fund). Honest answers, in a short
"status today vs. being built" box, convert that gap into the transparency the
campaign claims. Copy-paste (place near the foot, or in GoFundMe's
beneficiary/organizer note):

.. code-block:: text

   **Who receives the funds, and what exists today.** Contributions go to
   Laurence Loewe, the organizer, currently operating as an individual
   researcher — there is not yet a registered nonprofit or fiscal sponsor (so
   contributions are not tax-deductible).
   Building the right legal vehicle (a charitable structure that can be legally
   bound to the common good) is itself part of the work. In plain terms: today
   this is funds placed in trust with one person who has bet his own livelihood
   on it and commits to radical transparency; the public ledger and the formal
   governance are among the first things your support helps build. If that
   honest answer is a dealbreaker for you, that is a fair call — and exactly why
   the cap, the 50% give-away, and the open audit invitation exist.

2.6 Updates plan (cadence + first three topics)
-----------------------------------------------

**Cadence.** GoFundMe rewards regular updates; donors trust campaigns that post.
Given the dated deadline: **every 2–3 days through the deadline window** (now →
~June 15, covering *both* auction batches --- the second ~2 weeks after the
first), then **weekly** through the launch month, then **bi-weekly**. Post a
short update **immediately** when the first goal is hit (and raise the goal).

**First three update topics** (each also re-serves one audience):

#. **"The deadline, and exactly what your buy-in protects"** *(skeptic +
   urgency).* Thank first backers; restate the won't-buy-back integrity note;
   explain the June-1 milestone and that a second batch follows ~2 weeks later;
   say plainly what happens to funds if the auction is or isn't stopped in time.
#. **"Where the money goes --- the 50% give-away and a public ledger"**
   *(foundation-officer + transparency).* Announce the complementary-channel
   timeline (the Open Collective ledger), and state the give-away mechanism as
   it actually stands.
#. **"Audit the math --- the first questions in, and how to send yours"**
   *(secular rationalist + auditor).* Surface real audit engagement --- including
   a critical or skeptical one --- to prove the audit channel is live and that
   refutations are genuinely welcomed, not just advertised.

----

3. The cap problem --- engaged explicitly (b28 §4)
==================================================

3.1 Cap as the feature, not a bug
---------------------------------

Delivered in the story body under *"Why only ~$8 --- and why you literally
cannot give a fortune here"* in first-time-donor language: **the cap exists so
that no billionaire, no foundation, and no government can buy the campaign;**
work meant to speak for all sides cannot be owned by the deepest pocket. This is
the page's strongest officer-facing line (b25 §3.4 HELD "the cap is the feature,
not a bug to be negotiated around") --- moved here into plain, non-preachy prose
and placed early, where a first-time donor meets it.

3.2 Mechanics (GoFundMe cannot enforce a per-donor cap)
-------------------------------------------------------

Recommendation, in the draft: **self-enforced guidance + a redirect for the
over-cap impulse.** The page states the cap, asks the donor to keep to it, and
--- crucially --- gives the would-be larger giver somewhere productive to go
instead of a bigger "donate" button: **sponsor others** (the 1-in-8 credit-card
global-equalizer, straight from Buy-In flexibility #3), **audit the math**, or
**tell one person.** This turns the platform's "give more" pressure into the
project's own non-financial buy-in channels rather than fighting it.

3.3 Honest limit
----------------

Self-enforcement is genuinely un-enforceable on GoFundMe; a determined funder
*can* exceed the cap. The mitigation is transparency + the redirect above, plus
LLoL's stated practice (Buy-In) of declining direct financial support past the
ceiling once the tracking infrastructure exists. The page should not pretend the
cap is mechanically enforced --- it is a **commitment**, and is framed as one.

----

4. Platform-fit recommendation (b28 §4 --- a clear recommendation, not a menu)
==============================================================================

4.1 The recommendation
----------------------

**GoFundMe is the right primary rail *for this launch moment* --- because the
auction supplies the one thing GoFundMe was missing for this ask: a concrete,
dated, emotionally-real goal.** Use it as the **start-up instrument**, then add,
in priority order:

#. **Open Collective** --- the priority complement. Its public, line-by-line
   ledger is purpose-built for exactly the two things GoFundMe cannot show: the
   **50% give-away mechanism** and the **beneficiary/fund-administration**
   answer the foundation-officer asks (b25 §3.4). Highest trust-per-unit-effort.
#. **Substack and/or Patreon** --- for the **recurring "~$8 per year"** buy-in
   and the ongoing audit dispatches. GoFundMe is one-time-oriented; these match
   the "per year" framing and double as the update channel.

The draft commits to "channels within ~30–60 days," matching the existing Buy-In
promise (b23 §6.4) without over-specifying.

4.2 Why GoFundMe *does* fit here (steelman, against the b23 mismatch finding)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

b23 §6.4 flagged a real platform-mission mismatch (GoFundMe maximises per-donor
giving + emotional immediacy; this ask caps giving + is rational/mission). That
finding stands --- **but the auction changes the launch calculus**: GoFundMe's
emotional-immediacy engine and goal thermometer now have a *genuine, externally
imposed, dated* target to attach to (not one manufactured for the campaign). Add
the recognized-brand credibility anchor and the ~$8-impulse fit, and GoFundMe is
the correct *launch* instrument --- precisely as the start-up phase, not the home.

4.3 Why GoFundMe does *not* fit long-term (the mismatch that remains)
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Capped giving, recurring "per year" support, a 50% give-away ledger, and the
beneficiary-identity answer all fit Open Collective / Substack / Patreon better;
and GoFundMe's discovery will **not** surface a civilization-scale research ask
--- so **all traffic must be driven externally** (the auction post, the Buy-In
page, @JoanOf, word of mouth). The page must not lean on GoFundMe discovery.

4.4 BABL Danger candidate --- funds-timing vs the June-1 deadline
-----------------------------------------------------------------

**This is the single most important pre-launch flag.** The page exists to stop a
**Monday June-1** auction, but GoFundMe withdrawals typically require identity
verification + bank-account setup + a transfer that, especially for a first
payout, can take **several business days**. So funds raised may **not arrive in
LLoL's bank in time to pay the storage company by June 1.** If so, the page
promises a rescue it cannot mechanically deliver in the window --- exactly the
kind of silent substance-drift HUMANE exists to catch (it would *look* like a
working rescue while *being* unable to complete in time, and disappointed donors
would feel misled).

**Not flagged "BABL Danger:" as a prefix** because it is an operational/timing
fact, not an echo-chamber illusion --- but it is decision-relevant and must be
resolved before launch. Mitigations (LLoL to choose):

(a) **Confirm GoFundMe's actual payout timeline now** (it may be faster than
    assumed for a verified account; if it clears the window, this dissolves).
(b) **Offer a faster direct path for the time-critical debt portion** --- the
    auction post already invites "contact me directly at LLoL@balospe.com" for
    precisely this; make that path explicit and frictionless for anyone giving
    specifically to beat June 1.
(c) **Set donor expectations honestly** on the page and in update #1: separate
    "stop the June-1 auction" (may need the direct/fast path) from "sustain the
    work" (GoFundMe is fine). Do not let the thermometer imply the deadline is
    handled if the money cannot arrive in time.

5. Honesty / anti-overclaim compliance (b28 §5 --- non-negotiable)
==================================================================

.. list-table::
   :header-rows: 1
   :widths: 34 66

   * - Requirement (b28 §5)
     - How the draft complies
   * - "$8 = a vote of trust for the work to be audited, not a claim LLoL has
       the answers"
     - Stated nearly verbatim in the lead and again in "what your ~$8 does"
       ("not a bet that I have the answers ... a vote of trust for the work to
       be audited"; "you are not buying answers").
   * - Do **not** send a rigorous reader to ``crisis/science`` (still thin ---
       b25 §3.6 PROMISE-BROKEN); link the strongest available target
     - The "see the model" link points to **SD1** (OO-grade; carries the
       median-~19-yr, 1-in-40/yr figures + the Evolvix model code), **not**
       ``crisis/science``. The headline figures are SD1's, attributed to "a
       model ... you can check."
   * - Matheo series is in active drafting --- say so; no "full proof exists"
     - The draft never claims a finished proof; it says "unproven framework
       still in active drafting," "no guaranteed outcome," "the work of review,
       not a finished product." No "the full mathematical-theology argument."
   * - Every number traces to Buy-In / SD-docs; no invented figures
     - ~$8/2¢-a-day, the per-person cap, the 1-in-8 credit-card equalizer, the
       50%/journalists give-away, ~2,000 sq ft, J. F. Crow, 7+ years, June-1 ---
       all trace to Buy-In / SD1 / the auction post. **The goal amount is left
       as a marked placeholder** (LLoL's figure; §2.3) --- nothing invented.
   * - Language rules (Mode EDEN active)
     - "check / see for yourself," **never** "verify/validate/correctness"
       (Rule 4); "a proposed way out," not "the escape path" (Rule 2: no "the"
       for unproven superlatives); "Jubilee-based reset," not bare "Jubilee"
       (Rule 1); the big reset is the Jubilee System, not the 6:1 Shabbat
       cycle (Rule 8 --- not triggered, but kept clear).

**Promise-discipline note.** SD1's striking line "more likely to kill you than a
car crash at current rates" was **left off** the draft: it is the model's
*assessed implication*, not a directly-stated output, and the front door should
carry only the cleanly-defensible figures (median ~19 yr; 1-in-40/yr). It is
available to LLoL if he wants more punch, but should stay hedged ("by this
model's estimate") if used.

----

6. Built-in adversarial pre-check (b28 §7 --- five personas)
============================================================

Run of the draft past all five §3 personas. **HELD** = persona would not bounce
or find a damaging pull-quote; **changed** = fixed during this pass.

#. **Secular / rationalist / scientist funder ("don't lose the atheists") ---
   HELD.** A complete, sufficient reason to give arrives **before any
   theology**: the lead (model + audit posture + ~$8), "what your $8 does," the
   cap, and the "skin in the game / won't game it" integrity block are all
   secular and all precede the "Who this is for" faith paragraph. Science is
   named a full equal ("the truth-obsessed tradition"). *Changed during the
   pass:* the "see the model" link was pointed at **SD1, not
   ``crisis/science``** (promise-discipline).
#. **Faith reader (Pentecostal via @JoanOf; the Abrahamic traditions) ---
   HELD.** Served by the "deeper vision" paragraph + balospe.com links, reachable
   not forced. The intense prophetic register (Yah=Allah=Reality, Mahdi/Dajjal,
   Judgement-Day) stays on the blog / Epic Fury, **off** this measured front door
   (b25 §8.4.5 / §10.2).
#. **Skeptic ("scam / manipulation?") --- HELD (the draft's strongest suit).**
   The integrity stack is load-bearing and early: the cap, the 50% give-away,
   **won't-buy-back (= would be fraud)**, the checkable live-auction link,
   "audit the math," "$8 is a vote of trust not a claim I have answers," and the
   explicit "unproven framework, no guaranteed outcome" caution.
#. **Hostile journalist --- HELD, with one irreducible residual.** Scanned for
   pull-quotes: **no** "negotiate with nuclear powers" / AIPTO, **no** POAATAD
   power-of-attorney list, **no** "reinterpret 2000 years," **no**
   one-man-savior "all existential disasters" (bounded to "problems that fall
   through the cracks"), **no** condemnation indicting the reader. *Changed
   during the pass:* trimmed totalising scope; kept the whole power-of-attorney
   apparatus off-page. **Residual (Grey-Edge, not eliminable):** a bad-faith
   writer can still frame the auction as "crowdfunding to save his own stuff."
   The mitigation is structural --- mission-first framing + the won't-buy-back
   integrity note (a manipulator would *take* the cheap way out) --- which makes
   that framing self-evidently unfair, but cannot delete the raw fact.
#. **30-second mobile GoFundMe browser --- HELD.** The stakes + the ~$8 ask +
   "audit the math" all land in the first three short paragraphs (before the
   mobile "read more" fold); bold lead-ins + bullets carry a skim; all depth is
   below the fold or behind links. *Changed during the pass:* the lead was
   compressed specifically so the ~$8 ask clears the fold.

**Net:** all five HELD; the only un-closable item is the hostile-journalist
residual, which is mitigated to "self-evidently unfair," the best available for
a true fact LLoL has chosen to disclose.

----

7. EDEN verdict + READY status
==============================

**Verdict: READY-AFTER-FIX --- where every blocking "fix" is an LLoL
decision/insertion, not a prose defect.** The draft itself walks the Knife Edge
KE-1 path (§1) and HELD across all five personas (§6). It cannot go live until
LLoL supplies what only LLoL can:

#. **Insert the live GoFundMe URL** (owner: LLoL) --- and it **must be live
   before the auction post publishes** (b25 §15 hard gate: a reader at peak
   intent hitting a placeholder funnel bounces and concludes "not real").
#. **Set the goal amount** --- needs the storage-debt figure + the give-away
   gross/net decision (§2.3); nothing invented here.
#. **Resolve the funds-timing vs June-1 flag** (§4.4) --- confirm payout timeline
   and/or stand up the faster direct path; the sharpest pre-launch item.
#. **State the give-away handling for launch funds** on the page (gross/net ---
   §2.3), or it becomes a silent inconsistency.
#. **Choose the auction-link target** (the framed auction blog post --- default
   --- vs the raw Bid13 listing) and the balospe.com link targets.
#. **Approve / adjust** the beneficiary "what exists today" blurb (§2.5) and the
   complementary-channel wording (§4.1).

**Residual Grey Edge GE-1 (cannot be closed pre-launch):** whether this measured,
capped, mathematical-theology ask *converts* on GoFundMe at all is only knowable
by testing with real traffic --- the §4 recommendation (GoFundMe as launch
instrument + external traffic + Open Collective/Substack to follow) is built to
de-risk it, but the conversion question itself stays open until live.

**BABL self-check on this verdict.** Not over-Simplifying (did not call it
"READY" because the copy reads well --- gated it on the funnel-live + funds-timing
realities). Not over-Reaching (no new pages, no site redesign; the draft routes
*out* to existing pages and keeps POAATAD/eschatology off-face). Not
over-Complicating (one page, one job, depth behind links). HUMANE held: the
embarrassing-but-decision-relevant findings --- the funds may not arrive in time;
the give-away may halve the rescue money; the auction can still be pull-quoted as
self-interest --- are **surfaced, not buried.**

----

8. Concluding summary + action list for LLoL
============================================

**Bottom line.** A launch-ready GoFundMe draft exists (§2): a mission-first story
that leads with the falsifiable math + the ~$8 + "audit the math," carries the
integrity stack early, explains the cap in plain donor language, and keeps all
grandiosity / power-of-attorney / eschatology off the public face while routing
depth to balospe.com. It HELD across all five target audiences. **It is not the
launch blocker --- the launch blockers are six LLoL decisions/insertions** (§7),
of which two are time-critical.

**Do first (time-critical, before any publish):**

#. Make the **GoFundMe URL live** on the Buy-In page *before* the auction post
   goes public (hard gate, b25 §15).
#. Decide the **goal amount** (debt figure + give-away gross/net) --- §2.3.
#. Resolve **funds-timing vs June 1** (§4.4): confirm GoFundMe's payout window;
   if it misses Monday, make the **direct/fast path** explicit for
   deadline-critical giving, and set donor expectations honestly.

**Then (pre-launch polish):**

4. State the **give-away handling for launch funds** on the page (§2.3).
5. Pick **title** (rec. #1) + **hook** (rec. #1); set the **link targets**
   (SD1 for the model; auction post for "the live auction"; balospe.com/buy-in;
   balospe.com/audit-the-math).
6. Add the **beneficiary "what exists today" blurb** (§2.5).

**After launch:**

7. Stand up **Open Collective** (the 50% give-away ledger + beneficiary answer),
   then **Substack/Patreon** for the recurring/per-year buy-in (§4.1).
8. Post **update #1** within 2–3 days; **raise the goal** the moment the first
   milestone is hit.

**What HELD and should not be re-litigated:** mission-first framing; the
integrity stack (cap / 50% give-away / won't-buy-back / checkable auction /
audit-the-math); promise-discipline (SD1 not ``crisis/science``; "active
drafting"); keeping POAATAD + Mahdi/Dajjal + "negotiate with nuclear powers"
off the GoFundMe face; the ~$8 framed as a vote of trust, not a claim of answers.

.. note::

   **AAA QuickRef Rule --- not applied (out of scope).** That rule scopes to
   HEAVEN b11--b18 paper work; this is an INFRA execution llog, consistent with
   b25's same determination. The INFRA index
   (``source/matheology/hell/ll/infra/index.rst``) has been updated for b29 per
   the infra-index convention (next-free number bumped to b30).

----

9. Append (2026m05d27_18h05): Eid-derived edits applied
===================================================================

Per b30 §5.6 (proposals) and LLoL's authorisation, three **de-theologized** edits
drawn from the Eid post (``2026-05-27-two-sons-two-altars``) were applied to the
§2.4 story body. They keep the GoFundMe face **secular-first** --- no Abraham /
Moriah / Eid material on the page:

#. **Falsifiability line** added to *"What your ~$8 actually does"*: "... a
   confirmed flaw is worth more to me than a thousand polite agreements, and
   refutations are genuinely welcome."
#. **Faith on-ramp link**: the *"if you come from a faith tradition"* line now
   points to the "Two Sons, Two Altars" blog post (one click off the face).
#. **Anti-coercion**: the honest-caution close now reads "... worth about 2 cents
   a day --- but I'd genuinely rather you didn't give unless you're convinced it
   is. You get to decide."

Unchanged: the §7 launch-blocking decisions (live URL; goal amount; funds-timing
vs June 1) still stand. Build clean, 0 new warnings.

10. Append (2026m05d27_18h30): GoFundMe signup notes
=================================================================

.. container:: verbatim-prompt

   [...] I started the process of logging into GoFundMe. Can you walk me through
   what goes where and all those details? GFM asks lots of weird questions like
   "for whom is that"? It's not really for me but then its also for me, so what
   do I say? How do I address that in the text? Yes, I'm being selfish in aiming
   to avert accidental nuclear winter, because I don't want to die. But should I
   therefore classify the GFM as "for me"?

Full step-by-step walkthrough delivered in the reply; the decision-relevant
recommendations recorded here.

**10.1 "Who are you fundraising for?" → Yourself / an individual.** Mechanically
honest: the funds land in LLoL's own account; there is no nonprofit, fiscal
sponsor, or other person. **Cannot** pick "Charity" (GFM reserves it for
registered 501(c)(3)s --- claiming it would be false and fail verification);
"Someone else" is for a named other person. So **Yourself**. The *story* reframes
"for me" using the already-drafted §2.5 beneficiary blurb (funds → LLoL as an
individual; no nonprofit yet, and building one is part of the work; cap + 50%
give-away + transparency are the safeguards).

**10.2 The "am I being selfish?" framing --- name the convergence (ZION, not a
confession to hide).** Recommended on-page line (proposed; not yet applied to
§2.4): *"Is this 'for me'? Honestly yes --- and for you, and for everyone, in the
same breath. Averting accidental nuclear winter is the one place where not
wanting to die myself and not wanting anyone to die are the same wish. I'm not
pretending to be selfless; our interests line up here --- and the cap and the
give-away keep me honest about it."* This is the MAP (Mutually Assured Progress)
convergence --- the project's own thesis --- so naming it is the strongest, most
honest move, not a weakness to hide.

**10.3 Honesty flags.** **Not tax-deductible** (personal campaign, not a charity)
--- state it for larger / institutional donors. The one real BABL over-reach to
avoid: dressing it up as a registered charity or implying tax-deductibility.
**Category:** "Community" / "Other" reads mission-honest; "Emergencies" is
defensible given the June-1 deadline but signals pure crisis; **not** "Nonprofit".

**10.4 Timing (restates §4.4 --- the sharp one).** **Set up identity verification
+ bank/withdrawal NOW.** GFM requires ID + bank verification before any payout, and
first transfers take several business days --- this is the **June-1 bottleneck**:
start late and the money raised cannot reach the storage company in time. The
single most time-critical setup step.

----

11. Append (2026m05d27_18h45): convergence line + tax note applied to the draft
===============================================================================

Per LLoL ("Add the info above to the b29 story draft as relevant"), applied:

- **§2.4** (right after the cap / 50%-give-away beat, where it references those
  safeguards): the §10.2 **convergence paragraph** --- *"Is this 'for me'?
  Honestly, yes --- and for everyone, in the same breath ... our interests line up
  here, and the cap and the 50% give-away keep me honest about it"* + a one-line
  reminder that funds come to LLoL as an individual (no nonprofit yet).
- **§2.5** beneficiary blurb: the **not-tax-deductible** honesty flag --- "... no
  registered nonprofit or fiscal sponsor (so contributions are not
  tax-deductible)".

**Left out of the donor story on purpose** (operational / for LLoL, not the page):
the signup field-by-field, the "Yourself" form classification, and the verify +
bank timing bottleneck (§10.4). Build clean, 0 new warnings.

----

12. Append (2026m05d27_19h05): GoFundMe intro field
=================================================================

LLoL drafted the GFM *"Introduce yourself and what you are raising funds for"*
field (~115 words) and asked for cleanup. Findings:

- **"50 words needed" is a minimum nudge, not a cap** --- the draft already
  clears it; no cut required (a faithful version of all five beats runs ~70--80
  words; a strict 50 would force dropping a beat).
- **Hedge the car-crash line.** "More likely to die in accidental nuclear winter
  than in a car crash" is LLoL's own RiskyMAD / :doc:`SD1
  </good-news-pack/vv/mmv3/supporting-doc/sd1/index>` *estimate* (it is the SD1
  "Broader Significance" assessment, not a directly-stated model output) --- so
  attribute it ("by my own model's math") to stay promise-disciplined (matches the
  §5 note that this assessed line was kept off the main draft).
- **"of Laodicea"** reads cryptic to a first-time donor --- optional to keep in a
  short intro (it is his identity; can live in the bio / About link).
- **Convergence framing on-message** ("for me = for everyone"; "not pretending to
  be selfless"; "checks and balances that keep me honest") --- consistent with
  §2.4 / §10.2.

Recommended cleaned text delivered in the reply (LLoL's voice + length kept;
car-crash hedged; dashes normalized; "of Laodicea" dropped as optional), plus a
~55-word short variant. Advisory only --- no site-page change (this is an external
GFM field).

----

13. Append (2026m05d27_19h25): GFM intro field rewrite
======================================================================

LLoL rewrote the intro (~155 words; took the §12 advice --- car-crash now hedged
"my latest modeling indicates"; "of Laodicea" dropped; "(you judge)" = faith
opt-in done well). Two discipline flags (same class as b25 §7.5
grandiosity/totalising):

- **"avert all existential threats"** --- drop "all" (one-man-savior / totalising;
  Language Rule 2/3). Use the bounded *Ministry-of-Nothing* framing: "the
  existential threats that fall through the cracks because they're no one else's
  job."
- **"Will you help me to save the world?"** --- "save the world" is the top
  hostile-journalist pull-quote (the megalomania frame the launch unit has guarded
  against throughout). Soften to a collaborative / concrete CTA (e.g. "Will you
  help us change those odds?").

Fixes: "It's mission" → "Its mission" (its/it's); "a way for how to do this" →
"a way to do this"; "obviously" optional cut; "panic room" metaphor unexplained
(optional). Kept as strong: the hedged car-crash line, "(you judge)", the
convergence + "I have a dream" + *mathematical* checks-and-balances, the
#AuditTheMath + buy-in CTA. Cleaned version in the reply. Advisory only.

----

14. Append (2026m05d27_19h45): GFM title suggestions
======================================================================

LLoL weighing GFM's three auto-suggested titles against the §2.1 recommendation
#1. EDEN read of the three:

- **"Help Laurence Build ResearchCity for Our Survival"** --- *over-Reach*: "build
  ResearchCity" overclaims what Stage-0 / ~$8 actually delivers (the b25
  front-door-vs-unfinished-rooms risk), and "ResearchCity" is unexplained jargon
  in a title. "Our Survival" is a plus (collective).
- **"Support Laurence's Mission to Prevent Nuclear Winter"** --- *over-Reach*:
  "prevent" claims a certainty the work does not (it changes the odds / funds the
  review, not a guaranteed prevention); "Laurence's Mission to Prevent" tilts
  one-man-savior; drops the "accidental" precision; "Support" is the most passive
  verb of the three.
- **"Join Laurence in Changing Our Odds of Survival"** --- **EDEN-strongest of the
  three**: "changing our odds" is honest (probabilistic; matches RiskyMAD + the
  intro's odds line), "Join ... Our" is collective (the convergence thesis), no
  grandiosity. Gap: doesn't name the threat.

**Verdict:** of the three, #3; a hybrid closes its one gap. Recommended: **"Help
Change Our Odds Against Accidental Nuclear Winter"** (honest + concrete +
collective; no jargon/grandiosity), or with the brand **"#AuditTheMath: Changing
Our Odds Against Nuclear Winter"**. The §2.1 rec #1 is still the most on-brand /
promise-disciplined but is **too long for a GFM title** (likely truncated) and
dry --- GFM's go-shorter instinct is right; just steer it honest ("odds", never
"prevent / build / save"). #AuditTheMath already lives in the body/CTA, so it
need not crowd the title. Advisory only.

----

15. Append (2026m05d28): goal $80K + give-away resolution
======================================================================

LLoL set the GoFundMe **starting goal = $80,000** (= the documented §2.3 Tier-1:
~10,000 × ~$8 gross). Stated allocation: ~$40K given away (the 50% rule) + ~$40K
net to keep him in the race and clear what he owes from funding the work (storage
debt included). This **resolves the two §2.3 open figures**: goal = $80K;
give-away applies **from the start, with the storage emergency as the first call**.

**Endorsed, with three conditions:**

#. **State the give-away/emergency interaction on the page** (the §2.3 honesty
   requirement) --- e.g. "the June-1 storage deadline is the first call on funds;
   beyond it, half of everything raised is given away." Otherwise a donor fairly
   asks "are you giving away half the money I gave to save the research?"
#. **Check net $40K covers the need.** If the storage debt + the debts to clear
   now exceed ~$40K net, $80K will not net enough after the give-away --- raise the
   goal, or clear only the storage emergency now and defer the rest. (LLoL has the
   figures; flagged because the give-away halves the net.)
#. **June-1 timing (re-flag §4.4) --- now ~4 days out.** The $80K goal does **not**
   fix GFM's payout speed. The Monday storage rescue likely needs the direct/fast
   path (the auction post already invites it); GFM funds the broader Stage-0
   mission. Set up ID verification + US bank/withdrawal **now** (GFM requires a US
   SSN + US bank/address --- LLoL, in TaxUS, qualifies).

**Framing note:** present the debt payment as "clearing what I took on to fund
this work myself" (skin-in-the-game), not a generic "pay my debts" (reads as
personal bailout to a skeptic). **$80K = Stage 0** (keep the work alive + early
operating costs + give 50% away), not "pay my storage bill." Advisory; the goal
entry + the give-away sentence are LLoL's to finalise.

----

16. Append (2026m05d28): goal strategy + go-big BABL flag
======================================================================

At the GFM preview/launch page, LLoL reconsiders $80K as "a joke" vs the vision;
weighing (a) ~$80K bootstrap, (b) funding the :doc:`153 FiShFus Stage-0 positions
</action/jobs/153-fishfus-job-positions>` for an 8-month stage (~$10--20M gross at
~$100K/researcher-year), or (c) "go big or go home" --- 1 billion × $8 = $8B.

**Navigation (Knife Edge --- the gentle-kind-reasonable path): separate the GOAL
(what THIS GoFundMe raises now) from the VISION (where it is all going).** GoFundMe
is the **bootstrap** instrument: clear the emergency, keep LLoL + a tiny core
alive, and **fund building the independent funding platform** that can actually
pursue the $10M+/$8B-scale vision. You don't raise $8B (or $20M) on GoFundMe ---
you raise the bootstrap on GoFundMe to build the thing that can. So **goal = a
credible bootstrap number** (the ~$80K, or modestly more); **vision = stated big
and LINKED** (the 153-jobs page + the Buy-In scaling table up to 1 billion / $8B).
That is the honest move (truthful about what this stage is for + pointing to the
full ambition), not the $8B goal-field. **Seed vs forest:** the GoFundMe is the
seed (Zoning), not the forest.

**BABL Danger:** an **$8B (or multi-$M) goal-field number is over-Reach** --- the
thermometer sits at ~0%, reads grandiose/unrealistic, hands the hostile journalist
"crowdfunding $8 billion to save the world," and tanks credibility with the
secular rationalist + skeptic (the audiences the launch discipline protects). It
miscategorises GoFundMe (a bootstrap tool) as the vehicle for the civilizational
vision. The $8B belongs in the linked vision docs (already in the Buy-In scaling
table), not the goal field.

**Don't commit the GoFundMe to the full 8-month 153-person stage** (~$10--20M ---
beyond GoFundMe + over-promise). The 153-jobs page itself does not commit to
exactly 153. Bootstrap → platform → then the real Stage-0 hiring.

**Goals ARE raisable post-launch** (corrects LLoL's worry --- GoFundMe lets the
organiser edit the goal anytime in the dashboard). So $80K is not a ceiling: start
bootstrap, raise at milestones --- no pressure to pick the "final" number now.

**Story:** the full §2.4 body did not make it in --- only the short intro became
"the story" (the body was never pasted). On the preview, the Story section has an
Edit button → paste the full §2.4 text (apply bold/links per §2) + confirm the
vision links. **Don't rush Launch:** finish story + images + goal + give-away line
+ **bank/ID setup** (June-1 payout timing) first; GoFundMe allows editing before
and after launch. **Images (5):** suggested balanced set --- SD1 forecast chart
(stakes) · LLoL portrait (trust) · research materials / a poster (the work) ·
dung-beetle (parable) · KO flag or Flying-Scroll/ResearchCity image (vision);
first image = cover/share card. LLoL to bring ideas. Advisory.

----

17. Append (2026m05d28): vision paragraph added + $888K advice
======================================================================

**Vision paragraph added to §2.4** ("Where this is going --- and why this goal is
only the first rung"), as the penultimate beat before "How to buy in": Stage-0 /
seed framing; links the founding-team plan + the Buy-In scaling table (10,000 →
1 billion / $8B); **de-jargoned** ("FiShFus" kept out of donor copy); + the
transparency line ("a *starting* goal --- I'll raise it in stages ... and move to
platforms better suited to transparency and tax-deductible giving").

**$888K advice.** *Not* catastrophic over-Reach (unlike the $8B goal-field flagged
in §16) --- it is a defensible Stage-0-with-a-small-team figure (~$444K net after
the give-away). **But too big as a *starting* goal:** for a first campaign from an
unknown, the thermometer would sit at a low % and read **stalled**, which on
GoFundMe *suppresses* giving (low social proof) --- the opposite of the
rising-thermometer momentum that starting modest buys. **Recommendation: keep $80K
to start; make $888K the announced first milestone** (which also honours the
8-motif --- ~$8 / 8 stages / 8 billion). **The "keep raising the ceiling + move to
better-fit / tax-deductible platforms" line: yes, include a short, confident
version** (transparency + pre-empts "why so small?") --- but framed as "better
tools coming," *not* "wait for the better platform" (don't hand donors a reason to
defer past the June-1 emergency). The platform-move is already covered in the
"where the money goes" beat, so the vision-paragraph nod is enough. Advisory.

----

18. Append (2026m05d28): GoFundMe image selection
======================================================================

LLoL working through candidate images. Recommendations:

- **Forecast chart:** use the *extracted plot* (the one on ``crisis/science``) ---
  more readable at thumbnail size than the dense full SD1 poster --- **with a
  one-line caption** (the caption fixes the "too cryptic" worry); link the full
  SD1 in the story, don't use the dense poster as the image.
- **Open Letters (OL1 / the sequence) --- do NOT link from the GoFundMe.** The OL
  sequence is the grandiosity-magnet (it leads to OL10, the 10 Nuclear Kings /
  "negotiate with nuclear powers") --- the exact material b25/b28 keep OFF the
  funnel face. Link the *science* (SD1) directly, not via OL1. An "I've formally
  written to leaders" note, if wanted, belongs in the bio, not the funnel.
- **Wall-of-books (Revelation commentary):** strong "work at stake" gallery image
  + caption ("research materials in storage, up for auction in ~2 weeks" --- **no
  location**, per the b25 §9.4 privacy note). Reinforces skin-in-the-game.
- **Dung-beetle:** use the **clean photo (square, no text)**, NOT the YouTube
  text-cover --- its heavy insider/theological text ("Stumbling Up into ZION",
  "Balaam's donkey", "Luke 18:1-8") filters out the secular browser and reads
  ad-like; a clean photo + plain caption is stronger. Beetle = gallery (the
  parable), not cover.
- **Cover (first image = share card):** lead with a mission-signal --- the
  forecast plot (rational stakes) or an LLoL portrait (face/trust); the beetle +
  books are gallery, not cover. Advisory.

19. Append (2026m05d28): direct-pay-the-debt pivot
======================================================================

Under the June-1 clock + the GFM payout-delay / KYC-address snag, LLoL proposes:
have capable supporters pay the **storage company directly** (by card, via a phone
intro), bypassing the banking delay; in units of ~$8×N stadia ($1,600 / $6,400 /
$12,800); keep GFM for small donations *or* drop it for an email subscribe/pledge
model (a "Jonah" newsletter; FF+8x1600 pledge codes; a "1600+ pledge list").

**Core insight --- AFFIRMED (the right fix for the timing).** Decoupling the
time-critical storage rescue from the banking delay by having supporters pay the
**creditor directly** is sound --- and *more* trustworthy (money → the storage
company, verifiable via the public auction, never touches LLoL). It solves the
§4.4/§15 June-1 problem GoFundMe mechanically cannot.

**BABL Danger (the framing).** "Collect people with **financial clout** for
**substantial sums**" is --- in words --- the influence-shopping the whole project
condemns. The *amounts* are within the stated cap ($12,800/yr = ~$8×1600; $1,600 =
~$8×200), so they are rule-compliant --- but the *framing* detonates the "~$8, the
cap stops big money" message and hands a skeptic a hypocrisy quote. And actively
*soliciting* the wealthy shifts from the Buy-In page's *allowing* large (capped)
gifts to *courting* them. **Reframe required:** same cap (≤ ~$8×1600/yr per
person), open to **anyone who can**, a **faster rail for the deadline** --- not a
courting of the wealthy.

**SET = Knife Edge.** One narrow ZION path: direct-pay, **cap-respecting +
transparent + open-to-all-who-can + framed as a timing rail**, with debt-clearing
as the "first call" (no 50% give-away on debt payment, per §15; the give-away
rides the ongoing buy-in). Off that path (court "clout" for "substantial sums,"
off-book, drop the cap) = BABL. Scam-optics caution: "email → phone → pay" can
look scam-shaped; mitigate by having the donor pay the **named storage company
directly** (not LLoL), verifiable via the public auction.

**Recommendation: layer, don't drop.** Keep GFM (small ~$8 rail + brand + ongoing
buy-in for everyone); ADD the direct-pay **emergency** rail (deadline, capped,
all-who-can); the newsletter is a good owned-audience add. **Meta-flag
(over-Complicate under the 4-day clock):** don't spend the remaining days
redesigning the funnel (pledge list + FF-codes + phone-brokering) instead of
(a) the bank calls / KYC and (b) getting the SIMPLE emergency ask out --- the
auction post already half-sets-up the private "contact me directly" channel;
extend that. Keep public wording plain ("FF+8x1600" is cryptic for a cold
audience --- encode internally). Advisory.

----

20. Append (2026m05d28): courting-the-rich framing
======================================================================

After repeated institutional/banking rejection (personal specifics **redacted** ---
privacy), LLoL concludes he must court rich individuals' *support* (a yes/no
"allow it to evolve" vote, **not** special influence --- FF+1600 donors get no
larger say) and asks how to frame this publicly + next steps.

**Sound kernel (ZION, on-mission):** institutions are rule-bound and cannot make
exceptional decisions for novel cases --- so this needs *individuals* willing to
act where institutions structurally can't (= the Bakan critique already on Buy-In
+ the cap). **FF+1600 middle rail** ($1,600 = ~$8×200, within cap, no extra say,
public-or-private ack) is a credible bridge between the ~$8 GFM rail and the
contact-email --- keep it cap-forward, plain-worded (not "FF+1600" jargon
publicly), don't over-build now.

**BABL Danger (public framing) --- keep OFF the funnel:** the grand "the rich /
media / **Behemoth / Leviathan** must *allow* this," "taking the financial behemoth
head on," "the **only** credible effort to end nuclear roulette," "if no one else
succeeds, nuclear roulette does us all in" --- grandiose + conspiratorial +
one-man-savior; the exact pull-quotes that tank credibility with secular / skeptic
/ journalist (and Language Rule 2: "the/only" unproven superlative). These can be
private conviction or a *careful future essay* (the "of Laodicea" / Laodicea-
banking / Rev-3 piece), **not** the campaign message.

**Echo-chamber test (HUMANE):** "I can't win without the rich" is in tension with
the project's own thesis (the *views of the weak*, ~$8 from many). **ZION
inversion:** broad, transparent, capped grassroots support *is itself* the
protection --- a million transparent ~$8 backers are harder to quietly impede than
a few rich patrons; and **radical transparency (a public Open-Collective ledger)
is the concrete defense against the AML/fraud suspicion he fears**, not
rich-patron cover. Lead with the many; powerful non-interference *follows from*
broad legitimacy. Courting-with-cap-and-no-special-say is OK; the *dependency
narrative* + the *grandiose framing* are the traps.

**Next steps (recommended):** (1) **TODAY** --- the bank calls + GFM KYC
verification test (the gating fact; don't decide rail-strategy or abandon anything
before knowing whether GFM works); the ~$7--8K/auction storage debt is **small**
--- solve it simply (2--3 capped direct payments or the fast path), no grand theory
needed. (2) If KYC passes --- lock GFM as the $80K→800K→8M small rail. (3) Set up
the FF+1600 + newsletter rails *simply*, after the emergency/KYC. (4) Do **not**
make "this won't work unless the rich allow it" the public message. Meta-flag:
don't let the grand theory drive panic decisions under the 4-day clock. Advisory.

----

21. Append (2026m05d28): direct-pay ask + supporter naming
======================================================================

**Direct-pay emergency ask drafted** (cap-forward; for the auction post + direct
sends): states the dated ~$7--8K June-1 deadline; bank rails too slow; the donor
pays the **named storage company directly** (never through LLoL; verifiable via
the public auction); **same cap as everyone** (up to ~$8×1600 = $12,800/yr, or any
fewer stadia), **no extra say**; "likely several within the cap, not one backer"
(the cap working); debt-clearing = the "first call" (no 50% give-away on it);
high-risk / no-guaranteed-outcome disclosure; won't-game-the-auction integrity.
Public + open beats private courting.

**Naming guidance.** Rail tiers "Single / Select / All Stadia Supporters" work ---
they tier by *mission structure* (research stadia), not money-status, which avoids
VIP-donor vibes; minor: "Select" can read "elite" (consider "Some / Several /
Chosen"); gloss "stadia" for cold audiences; don't build tier *machinery* under
the clock (vocabulary, not infrastructure). **Word for buy-in people:** recommend
**"Backers"** (crowdfunding-familiar, secular, no false promise) for the cold
public + **"Sojourners"** (his) for the deeper/community/exodus framing;
"Participants" / "Stewards" strong alternatives (equality / fiduciary). **AVOID
"Investors"** (implies financial return --- contradicts the Buy-In page's explicit
"not an investment"; securities-implication risk) and **"Enablers"** (negative
connotation). Advisory.

----

22. Append (2026m05d28): supporter taxonomy
======================================================================

LLoL proposed a role taxonomy + asked whether/where to lock it in:

- **Backer** --- financial support (backing is itself a way of taking part).
- **Sojourner** --- engages a stadion's deep-water content/questions in any way
  (may not back; may be a learner).
- **Contributor** --- contributes real content beyond reading/backing (may not
  back, may not sojourn).
- **Participant** --- the union: anyone taking part in any of the three ways,
  working together on the narrow path to ResearchCity.
- All → becoming **Homo transiens** (the crossing-over / journeying human; vs Homo
  "sapiens" know-it-all) --- humble, on-mission.

**Coherent --- one fix:** "Backer = no further involvement" vs "Participant = work
together" is a logical gap; backing *is* participation. Fix: a Participant is
anyone taking part in ≥1 of the three ways; a Backer participates *financially*.

**Select/All inversion:** LLoL's anti-status reading --- "Select Stadia" (fewer,
smaller givers) carries the faux-elite vibe while big givers get the plain "All
Stadia" --- is a clever refusal to flatter the wealthy (ZION). Minor: "Select" also
reads "partial/lesser" to a small giver (ambiguous). Grammar: stadion (sing.) /
stadia (pl.).

**Where + when:** the reader-facing role words belong in the **public DICT
glossary** (tooltips, site-wide consistency) --- but **formalize post-launch**, not
under the 4-day clock (DICT needs the full definition-chain done carefully +
LLoL-in-charge per CLAUDE.md). Captured here as the interim record so writing stays
consistent. **Keep the COLD funnel simple** (Backer / give ~$8); the full taxonomy
(Sojourner / Contributor / Participant / Homo transiens) is *mission-layer*
vocabulary (balospe.com / the deep water), not the GoFundMe face (over-Complicate
risk for cold donors).

**FF+1600xN code:** maps correctly to the cap (x8 = $12,800 annual cap; x448 =
$716,800 absolute 7yr×8-person ceiling); clever internal shorthand but cryptic
public-facing (gloss it); x>8 invokes the 7-year + sponsor-7 flexibilities (with
their justifications). Don't build the code machinery under the clock. Advisory.

----

23. Append (2026m05d28): taxonomy locked in + GFM timing
======================================================================

**Locked in** (LLoL's loss-prevention request --- overrode the earlier "wait"
since the loss/re-derive risk outweighs the small cost): the participation
taxonomy → public DICT glossary ``source/dict/participation.rst`` (Backer /
Sojourner / Contributor / Participant / Homo transiens) + ``|TERM|`` tooltips in
``rst-dict-en.rst`` + ``dict/index.rst`` (toctree + term list); the limits / rails
/ strategy → internal ``AHA/buy-in-types.md`` (cross-links b29 §15/§16/§19–§22).
Build clean, 0 new warnings. DICT page named **"participation"** (LLoL's converged
preference); the *buy-in mechanics/limits* live in the AHA, not a public glossary
page. Memory pointer added (``project_buy_in_participation_vocab``) so fresh
sessions recall the locations.

**GoFundMe pre-launch / timing (web-checked, support.gofundme.com, 2026m05d28):**
GoFundMe's own guidance --- transfer setup + verification **up to 7 business days**,
then **2–5 days** to reach the bank --- **confirms GoFundMe cannot fund the June-1
storage rescue** (June 1 is ~2 business days out). The direct-pay rail (§19) is the
*only* June-1 mechanism, definitively. LLoL's "must launch before setting up
payment" observation is consistent with GoFundMe's model (publish → set up
transfers → verify before the first-donation deadline, or donations refund) ---
not a new limitation. Advisory.
