.. note::

   **Series:** this is **HELL AA b16**, in ``source/matheology/hell/aa/``, scoped to HELL's
   own adversarial-review system. It is **not** ``AA b16`` in the project registry
   (``source/_post/aa/b/16/``), which is about the b19 SGIR paper. The two series are
   numbered independently and collide at b11--b16 --- always qualify which one you mean.

Task
======

Run the HELL stability review and FLAMES restructuring **before** further paper-writing
sessions, to ensure HELL's link structure is stable enough to receive more session logs and
MockupModel drafts without breakage.

A dedicated session prompt exists at::

The session combines three things:

1. an in-depth stability review with EDEN analysis;
2. FLAMES restructuring of the HELL landing page;
3. creation of ``/hell/salt/`` for the Con-/Pro+ Findings Register.


Origin and current status
===========================

Migrated 2026m08d04 from ``AHA/aa-open-tasks.md`` entry ``AA-AHA-hell-stability-a1``, where
it had been recorded as a k6/s8 item. It is filed here rather than in the project registry
because its whole scope is HELL's own structure --- the placement rule puts an AA file next
to the thing it plans.

.. warning::

   **Partly overtaken by events, but not done.** Parts of the concern have since been
   addressed independently:

   - **Salt crystals now exist** --- ``hell/salt/`` is in place, and ``AHA/HELL.md``
     documents that Con-/Pro+ entries stay at their stable ``hell/con/b/<N>/`` and
     ``hell/pro/b/<N>/`` paths while crystals provide thematic navigation.
   - **Link stability is now machine-checked** --- ``make check-paths`` (2026m08d03,
     ``AHA/linting.md``) verifies git-index-vs-disk path case, hardcoded self-URLs, and
     every ``:doc:`` and toctree entry against git's docname view. It found and fixed a
     case-drift bug that had silently killed **563** links site-wide.
   - **Stale-number drift is a known, recorded hazard** --- ``AHA/HELL.md`` now instructs
     computing "next free" from the filesystem rather than trusting a cached number, after
     both the directory snapshot and a sequence's own admonition drifted (recorded
     2026m06d10, ``ll/infra/b/39/``).

   What remains unaddressed is the **FLAMES restructuring of the HELL landing page** and the
   **EDEN stability review** itself. Re-scope before running: the prompt predates all three
   developments above.
