Key terms related to the 7 Track Roles (:term:`e7Tr`).
Every functioning society needs people in all seven roles. Each role
faces a specific :term:`BABL` temptation that can corrupt the
contribution. Named after the seven nations of Canaan, reinterpreted
as functional archetypes --- not ethnic groups but structural
positions that any society generates.

      The **7 Track Roles** model. Formalizes how every society
      generates seven functional roles, each facing the same
      :term:`BABL` temptation pattern as the corresponding
      :term:`e7He` (hero journey) and :term:`e7Ch` (change stage).
      Named after the seven nations of Canaan. An eighth meta-role
      (:term:`ISR`) can serve in any of the seven.

      The leaders, speakers, and influencers who set direction and
      shape what others believe is possible. The temptation is to
      declare complex problems "simple" by authority alone: "Trust me,
      I know."

      Beatitude: *KnowNot --- stay poor in spirit.* True leadership
      begins with admitting you do not have all the answers.

   HIT

      Active idol: :term:`ASHERAH` (overcomplicating).

      The protectors, risk managers, and fighters who face fear on
      behalf of others. The temptation is to amplify fear by making
      threats seem more complex than they are, justifying their own
      importance while paralyzing everyone else.

      Beatitude: *Mourn, to heal.* The courage to face grief head-on
      rather than numbing or weaponizing it.

   CAN

      The traders, merchants, and distributors who create wealth by
      connecting supply with demand. The temptation is "just business"
      (oversimplifying the ethics) combined with impenetrable contract
      complexity (overcomplicating the deal).

      Beatitude: *AllowOthers to inherit in open.* Genuine trade
      creates wealth for everyone at the table, not just the dealer.

   PHE

      The experts, judges, and reviewers who assess quality and make
      technical decisions. The temptation is to claim more authority
      than expertise warrants: "trust the science" becomes "the
      scientist decides for you."

      Beatitude: *Yearn4Justice, to be satisfied.* The expert who
      hungers for what is right, not merely technically correct.

   JEB

      Active idols: :term:`BAAL` + :term:`MOLOCH`.

      The administrators, bureaucrats, and rule-enforcers who keep
      systems running. The temptation is "just follow the rules"
      (oversimplifying people) combined with "I decide who gets
      through" (overreaching authority). The bureaucrat who stamps
      without seeing the person has become the stamp.

      Beatitude: *Empathize, to get mercy.* Rules exist for people,
      not the other way around.

   HIV

      The searchers, niche-builders, and rotators who move between
      communities and seek what is hidden. The temptation is to
      overreach the search into empire-building while overcomplicating
      findings beyond what others can use.

      Beatitude: *UnBiasLogics, to see Reality.* Pure logic without
      bias is the rarest and most powerful tool a searcher has.

   GIR

      Active idols: :term:`BAAL` + :term:`ASHERAH` + :term:`MOLOCH`
      --- all three simultaneously.

      Those who have been crushed by the system. The ignored, the
      othered, the suffering. Every society produces them; their
      existence is the measure of the system's failure. The full weight
      of :term:`BABL` bears down on those who have least.

      Beatitude: *MakePeace, to belong.* Those who have been crushed
      and choose peace rather than revenge find the belonging that
      violence can never provide. The hardest and most heroic choice.

   ISR

      The **meta-role** of the :term:`e7Tr` (7TrackRoles). Not a
      separate eighth role but the capacity to serve in any of the
      seven when needed, wrestling with Reality rather than settling
      into a single track. Named after Israel (= one who wrestles
      with God/Reality).
